Necromancy: Talking to Dead Spirits?– The Love of God is Greater Far….
Premiere: OleloNet April 3, 2019
Rebuttal to the accusation of committing Necromancy–talking with “dead spirits” (demons). This rebuttal was written after eight months of periodic fasting and “pray without ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17) or “praying in Tongues.”
QUESTION: On the Mount of Transfiguration, did Jesus speak with “dead spirits” or “living saints”? [All souls living in God’s Kingdom are called “saints.”]
ANSWER: Matthew 22:32 (EXB) — God said, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob [Ex. 3:6– God is still the God of the patriarchs, so they must have a continued existence after death].’ God is the God of the living, not the dead.
THEREFORE, Moses’s laws forbade the children of Israel to intercourse with spiritualists, fortune tellers, in seances, etc. because these communications are with evil spirits, demons, and cohorts of Satan’s kingdom. Satan’s kingdom is filled with “dead spirits.” Demonic spirits are passed on through the generational curse (Exodus 20:5). After living within a family for three to four generations, wouldn’t these demons be able to imitate and answer questions about a dead family member?
